CIRCUMSTANCE DOES NOT CHANGE GOD!!!

Many times in our lives hardship or tragedy comes upon us all.

It is at these times when fear and uncertainty tries to take over and rule our lives. I have met many people that have experienced this.

Circumstance can paint a terrible picture and cause you to expect only the worst for the situation at hand. I myself have been there many times. After much prayer and seeking the Lord I became stronger in believing God's WORD.

When troubles come, I quit looking at the circumstance and look to the WORD of GOD. His WORD has the answer to every problem.

There are so many examples in the Bible for us to follow.

Remember when God led the children of Israel out of Egypt and they came to the Red Sea? Circumstance said they were trapped and Pharaohs army was nearing fast behind to destroy them, but Their GOD was Mighty and gave them his WORD. He caused a mighty wind to blow and parted the water and they crossed on dry land that had never been seen before! His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts! What looked to be a trap for them, he made to be a trap for the enemy! Circumstance could not change GOD.

Another example 1 Kings 17: Elijah had just told King Ahab there shall be a famine and there shall be no dew nor rain these many years only according to my WORD.

GOD told Elijah, "Get thee hence and hide thyself by the brook Cherith near Jordan and you shall drink of the brook and I have commanded the ravens to bring you bread and flesh in the morning and evening time."

The famine got so bad that the brook dried up and he had no more water. Then GOD spoke to him and told him to go to Zarephath for I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

When he came to the gate of that city he finds this woman gathering sticks to build a fire so she could cook the very last meal she had and nothing at all left and was expecting to die when all was gone. Oh what a terrible circumstance it was. She couldn't take care of herself, how was she going to sustain the prophet of GOD? Again circumstance does not change GODS  WORD. God filled her meal barrel and it did not fail during the time of the famine so she was able to lodge and feed the prophet of God and herself and son for the next three and half years!

Friend God is still the same to you and I. Don't look at the circumstance. Look at His WORD and cling to it. He is greater than the circumstance. Only Believe!!  Proverbs 3:25 and 26  Be not afraid of sudden fear nor the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh for the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Oh friend, What a Promise when we look at the WORD instead of the circumstance. He tells us in his WORD that ALL things are possible to them that believe::::  THE  WORD

So remember this when circumstance tells you your all done and there is no hope,    GOD IS GREATER !!!
