Hidden Manna. What Is It?

"And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat."  (Exo. 16:15)  The Lord's manna of that day was puzzling to the people just as "Hidden Manna" of today is puzzling to everyone except God's remnant seed.  The story goes on to say in (Exo. 16:20) "Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank and Moses was wroth with them."  Even though it was God's created Manna, if not handled in the way God ordained, death worked inside with stinking worms.

Paul's teaching in the new testament also shows us two kinds of word  (Manna).( IICor. 3:6)  The first type is uninspired by the passion of the Holy Ghost.  Just like the "left-over manna", or "out of date bread" bred worms; Paul declares: "the letter killeth"  God's word is called a two-edged sword, if it comes from an uninspired ministration of death, it killeth.  But if it comes from the living, breathing spirit it becomes a sharp threshing instrument which prunes, and operates on the flesh until our senses are sharpened (Heb 5"14).

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,..." (Rev.2:17) The remnant seed is developing an ear to hear beyond doctrinal lies. God's true and living word will incubate inside your inner man until it develops its very own heartbeat, and our heart is then joined to the Father's heart, and out of this bond of comparing spiritual things with spiritual things, comes a passionate relationship. God's living word is still the most powerful and creative force on the planet today! HOWEVER, it is reserved for those who truly are overcomers, they have heard their Father say:"Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive  not of her plagues." (Rev.18:4) The important words of this passage; "MY PEOPLE". My people points to God's elect and chosen who press beyond surface religion until they know the difference between "going to church" and actually entering into the Kingdom of God, which is alive and well right here and right now!!

The parable of the ten virgins is a wonderful teaching the people of God must see. All the parables of Jesus contained within them "mysteries of God".(Matt.13:11) There is a hunger within the chosen to get to the heart of these parables. The surface meanings of Jesus' parables were designed to blind the minds of the wise and prudent. This blinding is synonymous with Paul's statement that a "dead letter killeth."  Let's look deeper, the ten virgins represent a set apart, sanctified group or a remnant seed. They can be related to the virgins of Revelation chapter fourteen; "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins..." By comparing spiritual things with spiritual things , we know being defiled with women is being seduced by religious systems of men. "These have been redeemed from among men," (Rev.14:4)  he that hath an ear let him hear, Praise the Lord! "And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him."(Matt.25:6)  Here's the revelation we can receive from the living word. It does not say go ye up to meet the bridegroom. This meeting between the virgins and the bridegroom is a sacred and unique relationship and it takes place as we go OUT to meet Him. The truth is, this union can only take place "outside the camp", there can be no religious distractions as bride and bridegroom come together to really know one another. Jesus is our bridegroom,  and John the Baptist was the '' friend of the bridegroom". As the forerunner of Jesus, John had the lineage of the priesthood. However, he would not participate in the Jews religion. We see him "outside the camp" , his introduction comes to us from the wilderness. As part of God's remnant, I'm sure you're acquainted with the wilderness and know what I'm talking about. This is where our hearts are prepared to receive the bridegroom. Behold the bridegroom cometh, yes He has already came and developed a relationship with His chosen Bride, I am not waiting on a so-called rapture, for this is talking about a catching away into an intimacy of love right now and (Rev. 19:7) says:"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." This love relationship is not for the future, it must be experienced now.The bride hears the voice of the bridegroom and will not listen to strangers!

Hidden Manna. What is it? It is an understanding that the True Bread is Jesus. What is it? It's a union between the virgin bride and Jesus our Husband, who is head of the body and head of the true church. As we sup with Him and He with us, the Living Word makes us one heart and one mind. "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes" (Matt.11:25) The thing about a baby, he or she trusts their Father explicitly.

May the Lord Bless you richly, Elmer Hart
