PASSION IS THE KEY

     Thanks to the determination and passion of Jesus, you and I have an established Kingdom and it is readily available. A unique kingdom birthed by passion and has nothing to do with meat nor drink nor wealth nor land. This kingdom of passion is God's righteousness, peace and joy and it's located in the Holy Ghost. (Rom 14:17) We can deduce from this; when we receive the Holy Ghost we receive a kingdom of righteousness, a kingdom of  Peace, and a kingdom of Joy. Jesus said "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say , lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)
     In the four gospels we have great teachings on the Kingdom of God, however there's a mystery, there is only one mention of "KEYS OF THE KINGDOM''. We are not told how many keys there are and it's certainly not clear what they are. We all know keys are used to unlock doors that are locked. In most businesses you must prove yourself before
being granted a key, and those who are not responsible are left completely out. So it is in the kingdom of God !!
     This glorious kingdom was birthed out of passion. In the dictionary passion is defined as an intense or overwhelming desire or emotion. There is however, another listing and it's in most dictionaries regardless of those who wish it wasn't. The dictionary defines passion as the suffering of Jesus after the Passover supper.  I think this is huge in itself, positive proof of the life of Jesus Christ, after all every one believes the dictionary. Here's the revelation: this kingdom was birthed by passion, suffering, torture, spitting and slander, if it operates in us to any degree of greatness, we must also be consumed by passion. Our level of success in this kingdom is measured by our hunger and thirst after His likeness. "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might..." (Ecc.9:10)
     "I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord God will help me; therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know I shall not be ashamed."
(Isa.50:6-7)   No matter what they put Jesus through, His face was set like a flint (that's some hard rock), he was determined to have a glorious Church. "And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, (his name means rock) and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose
on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt 16:18-19)  God's church is built upon the rock. Entire sermons have been preached on the Rock. Scripture teaches that rock contained flint. Sharp weapons are made out of flint when pressure is applied. We are told that the rock that followed them in the wilderness Was Christ. "where there was no water;
who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;(Duet.8:15)   Here's my "key to the kingdom" that will open doors that no man can shut. Set your face like a flint to touch the heart of Jesus. Let life's pressure just make you sharper.
This kingdom was birthed out of  the "passion of Christ", make a strong effort in what you do. Make a strong effort in obedience, have a fervent love for TRUTH. I promise this is a powerful Key!!
In-Christ Always Elmer Hart
