GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES

"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue".( II Pet.1:3) What an incredible scripture! Jesus said: "If thou canst believe, all things are possible...".  By divine power He has given us all things by faith!  Divine is defined as; The Most High Supreme Deity. And the Greek word for "power" is supernatural miraculous power. The  ALL THINGS which most of us can't even fathom, gives us the master key to Life and Godliness. Our testimonies sure ought to change from weak and beggarly to "yes and amen". "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us".(II Cor.1:20)  Did you hear that?  In Christ  ALL OF GOD'S PROMISES  are yes and so let it be!

Time and time again I have seen denominations, which focus primarily on religion, begin losing their "first love" by squashing the anointing. You will never experience "all things" nor the "miraculous" without cherishing and protecting the anointing of the Spirit!  In order to move forward in God's Army our "first love" requires us to always desire God's anointing. Anointing is defined as; God's supernatural energy which is embodied in the Holy Ghost and allows us to do amazing things we simply cannot do on our own. We must also realize deception and seduction swiftly await all who forsake the anointing. The Apostle John says it best: "These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you all things and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him".I Jn.2:27  By the anointing I know all things pertaining to Life and Godliness. This Holy Ghost Anointing is the "yoke that is easy", for by it I always abide in Him and He abides in me (no separation).

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust".(II Pet.1:4) Divine Nature is a vital part of resting in our "land of promise" Divine Nature and all that comes with it such as the "mind of Christ" and maturing into Sonship is the mark of the prize of the "high calling" of God in Christ Jesus. Always pressing to be partakers of the nature of Jesus makes us kindred spirits with our brothers and sisters. The Greek word for partakers is also translated as fellowship. Understanding this always allows us to recognize the true family of God. Then fellowship is not grievous but flows as a fruit of Love.

True fellowship requires a connection to the Name of Jesus. For you see Jesus is the Divine Nature of God manifested in the flesh, always showing perfection without sin ! To love His name is to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. To love His name is to be totally immersed in that name. We confirm this in water baptism, however, the full revelation of baptism is to be completely submerged until nothing sticks out. Consider this deeper meaning; "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise".(Gal.3:27-29) More great and precious promises for those of us who are In-Christ with nothing left "sticking out".

To be totally consumed and captivated in Jesus, is to love the anointing and to protect the anointing. One of the older meanings of the word garden; "was an area that was guarded".He has made our heart a garden filled with His Spirit our duty is to stay on guard. To squash the anointing is to throw water on the very "fire of God". No one knew and taught this better than Apostle Paul. Let me close with his admonishing: "Wherefore brethren, covet to prophesy and forbid not to speak with tongues." "Quench not the Spirit". Also "Despise not prophesyings". "Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise...(I Kings 8:56)  The Holy Ghost Comforter always brings words of encouragement accompanied by Rest!
