RULING THE NATIONS BEGINS IN US

"And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my father"(Rev.2:26-27).  To the carnal mind this passage can be very deceiving. We must slow down and not think of ruling with a rod-iron from the Throne as a task-master demanding obedience and homage or else I'll show you!  This spiritual authority must first begin inside my own land! If you're honest with yourself you know I'm telling you the truth! "For the time is come that judgement must begin at the house of God: and if it begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God"(I Pet.4:17) ?

It's a fact that most of the symbolism from John's Revelation has its roots in the Old Testament! Much understanding can be seen as we look at Israel's exodus through the wilderness approaching the "land of promise" a land flowing with milk and honey. "When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;"(Duet.7:1)  Truthfully there are great and mighty nations inside us that must be conquered; Imaginations, Condemnation also made up Hallucinations. To rule God's nations I must first rule my own nations! The Bible number seven speaks of perfection, completeness and maturity.

This is a prophecy directly to Jesus: "Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potters vessel" (Psalms 2: verse 7 and 9) However to God's overcoming Church Jesus relays and transfers this great opportunity and great responsibility to His Chosen and Elect! "To him that overcometh will I give power over the nations..."  Let's look at the Hebrew meanings. Hitite: terror as to use confusion to break one down and create fear!   Girgashite: an offspring of Ham, meaning darkness(which is ignorance), no understanding of the spiritual, likewise no discernment!  Amorites: publicity, prominence or exalted. Mountaineers with their focus on living in high places. Spiritually speaking; this is pride and vain imaginations.

Canaanites were peddlers, tricksters and traffickers. Also means showmanship and pretenders who use gimmicks. Could this refer to those who have reverted to lights and smoke machines? Be careful to always guard His Anointing! The Canaanites speak of harlot spirits and various fleshly pagan religions!  Perizzites: meaning wide open country. There were no defining boundaries to deter anything (no spiritual immune system). One disaster after another, was also called a "land of weakness".  Hivites: An organized village or society. A place where majority rules. Hivites are sons of Canaan the huckster! Speaks of external worship for show. Its villages looked good but its all man-made!  Jebusites: usurped Mt.Zion as their own stronghold. Lepers and blind men maintained God's beloved mountain! God' Throne must be set up in His ordained High Place and Cherished! Our high place is our mind and spirit. The word Jebusite means threshing place along with trials!  It will take threshing and trials to perfect us as overcomers. I'll close with the words of Jesus: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation be of good cheer; I have overcome the world"  WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!
